DON'T DISCRIMINATE...APPRECIATE!
This class that I've been taking, American Multiculturism (which is a great class by the way), has allowed me to see the better side of DIFFERENT. I can't lie-- I used to be one of those people who was automatically offended when someone looked at me wrong, simultaneously thinking they were being racist, and of course I loved those -IT'S BECAUSE I'M BLACK- jokes. Not so much anymore--I've learned that when you think that someone is discriminating against you because they are not of the same skin color, automatically judging them before you even know them, it makes you even worse! Don't discriminate against those you don't know just because they're a different race...appreciate the diversity in the world! Just imagine if we were all COMPLETELY ALIKE!
